Aims and Objectives of 'Let's Make Music'.
To make it possible for amateur musicians to share orchestral music making with many nationalities in interesting and beautiful places. To experience different music and styles of music making and where possible to improve their own standard of playing. Professional conductors and where appropriate, section leaders are engaged. Music is chosen by the conductor to include as much work as possible for the Brass section and reflecting the music of the country that we are visiting.. Venues are chosen that are easily accessible using the ever growing number of 'budget' airlines. Accommodation is basic but good. Prices are kept low to enable musicians on low incomes to take part as well as those who wish to travel a long distance. Each time there should be a proportion of 'new faces'.

  • You may ´express an interest´ in any event at any time. This will give you first refusal as soon as final details are available.
  • Grade 6 Associated Board of London is the minimum requirement.
  • All bookings will be dealt with by email. Payments by Bank Transfer. If you do not have your own email address, then you can send me one of someone who will pass the information to you.
  • Music is chosen by the conductor and will usually reflect his/her nationality and the country in which we are playing.
  • A programme of excursions is arranged (not Eastbourne).
A performance is given at the end of the week/weekend.
  • There are often opportunities to play Chamber Music in your free time.
  • Participants may be from any country in the world, sharing the greatest 'International Language' of Music
